1. Who we are

International Tax Advisers (“ITA”, “we”, “us”) is a division of LEXeFISCAL LLP, a UK limited liability partnership of tax advisers and chartered accountants. LEXeFISCAL LLP is the data controller for personal data collected through internationaltaxadvisers.com.

LEXeFISCAL LLP is not a firm of solicitors and is not regulated by the SRA.

2. What we collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number.
  • Diagnostic inputs: answers you provide in our Cross-Border Tax Health Check and other tools (residency, assets, jurisdictions, etc.).
  • Correspondence: messages you send us by email or web form.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and basic usage logs (for security and to keep the service running).

3. How we use your data

  • To generate and deliver your diagnostic results by email.
  • To follow up with you about your enquiry and, where relevant, propose advisory engagements.
  • To improve our tools, content and user experience.
  • To comply with our legal, regulatory and professional obligations.

4. Lawful bases

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

  • Consent — when you submit a form requesting a diagnostic or advice.
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, secure our systems, and develop our services.
  • Legal obligation — to meet anti-money-laundering, tax and professional conduct requirements where an engagement begins.

5. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your data. We share it only with carefully selected processors who act on our instructions under written agreements:

  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Supabase (via Lovable Cloud) — secure database and infrastructure.
  • AI providers (Google, OpenAI via our gateway) — to analyse your diagnostic inputs and produce a report. Inputs are not used to train third-party models.
  • Vetted specialist advisers — only with your consent, when you ask to be introduced.

6. International transfers

Some processors are based outside the UK/EEA (notably in the United States). Where this is the case, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved under UK GDPR.

7. Retention

We retain diagnostic submissions and related correspondence for up to 24 months, unless you become a client — in which case we keep records for the period required by tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering law (typically 6 years after the engagement ends).

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict our processing.
  • Request portability of data you provided.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).

To exercise any of these rights, email info@lexefiscal.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies required for the site to function (session, security, preferences). We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will request your consent first.

10. Security

Personal data is transmitted over TLS and stored in encrypted databases. Access is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
